Review by hotel critic
Having recently stayed at Arenal Volcano Inn during a business trip, I found the experience to be both refreshing and deeply enriching as an ecologist. This charming property, just outside La Fortuna, provides a cozy and intimate setting that beautifully complements the breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano. The villa we occupied was spacious and inviting, featuring two well-appointed bedrooms and equipped with a kitchen perfect for enjoying leisurely meals while taking in the vibrant surrounding nature. The staff's warm hospitality stood out; they not only organized a delightful horseback riding tour to the volcano but also provided excellent dining recommendations for local cuisine. Dining at the Que Rico Arenal Restaurant was a highlight; the dishes, especially their wood-oven pizza, were delightful. It offered a fantastic view of the volcano, making meals a spectacular experience. With eco-friendly practices evident throughout the hotel and easy access to the region's stunning nature reserves, I left feeling connected to both the environment and my traveling companions. I wholeheartedly recommend Arenal Volcano Inn for those seeking comfort, sustainability, and a taste of Costa Rica's vibrant biodiversity.
